2/4: Metropolitan Chicago General Meeting of Friends will meet on February 4, 2012, at Evanston Friends Meeting meetinghouse, 1010 Greenleaf.

We will begin gathering for coffee and fellowship 8:30-9:15. Our program will be in the morning, and will be a consideration of ways forward for MCGM. There have been two explicit proposals received. (Click the link to download.)

After lunch, we will have meeting for business. We should be done by 3 PM.

Dear Friends of the Chicago Friends School,

 


Admission application deadline for K/1 is 2-4, 2012. Applications can be found on our web site:  www.chicagofriendsschool.org or picked up at any of our January events.

 

We have two open houses coming up.  Short demonstration lesson for children (parents observe) with Katherine Donnard, presentation and Q&A for parents to follow (children play during this time).

 

February events:  

 

Friday, February 3ed, 6:30PM:  First Friday Family Fun Night, board games and pizza 

Saturday, February 11th, 10AM: Story hour--story and activities based on Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.

Saturday, February 18th, 2-4PM: Open house.   


Save the date:  2nd Annual Benefit Dinner/Auction Thursday, March 15th, "Lighting a Fire".
